pensionable establishment of the Colony

and your salary will be raised to £150 a

year on your completing 6 years service

dating from your arrival in Hongkong.

3. You will be provided with free

furnished quarters and attenda ce in a

building attached to the Civil Hospital

and you will be subject to the supervision

of the Matron of that Hospital and to such

rules as the Government may from time to

time prescribe. Uniform and laundry

will be provided. You will be employed

primarily in private nursing but when not

so engaged you may be employed in any of

the hospitals of the Colony, After three

years satisfactory service you will be

eligible for appointment to the ordinary

hospital nursing staff as vacancies occur.
